Transforming the Carmacks Cu-Au-Ag Project

Copper North Mining Corp. (TSX.V:COL) is a Canadian mining exploration and development company focused on advancing the Carmacks Copper-Gold-Silver Project, located in the Yukon Territory, Canada. Copper North is transforming the Carmacks Project into a low-cost cathode copper producer through use of a two-stage agitated tank leaching process to recover both copper and precious metals from the high grade oxide copper-gold-silver deposit. The recent Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA, November 25, 2016) indicates the project will produce 30 million pounds of cathode copper per year at a cash cost of US$1.08/lb after deduction of gold and silver by-product credits. Copper North is now working to advance engineering of the Carmacks metallurgical process to the feasibility stage and then complete environmental assessment and permitting.
