Banyan Gold Corp. (TSX.V:BYN) is focused on gold exploration in the Yukon, advancing two Yukon gold properties, the Hyland Gold Project and the Aurex- McQuesten Gold Project.
The Hyland Gold Project has a National Instrument 43-101- Technical Report (NI-43-101) Indicated mineral resource of 8.6 million tons grading 0.85 gram per tonne gold equivalent (AUEq) for 236,000 AUWq ounces with an inferred mineral resource of 10.8 million tonnes grading 0.83g/t AUEq for 288,000 AUEq ounces at a 0.3g/t AUEq cut-off. This resource is located at Main Zone” (a 900mx 600m area), is open in all directions and at depth. With 18 km of strike and a 186 square kilometre land package, Banyan believes the property has the potential to host a multi-million ounce deposit.
The Aurex-McQuesten project has known intrusion related gold mineralization from surface and is well located with a highway and powerline on the property. Banyan believes this property also has the potential to host a sizeable gold deposit.
